My goal is to introduce the practices of mindfulness/meditation and help to integrate them into your personal and professional life, fostering awareness, inner growth, and resiliency. My approach is experiential and personalized, based upon fundamental principles of contemplative practice that have shown, and continue to show, dramatic success in hundreds of studies conducted over the past 25 years. InnerJoyMind is a supplemental mental health practice that nourishes wisdom, grows compassion, and re-discovers the life and well-being you have always intended.
InnerJoyMind was developed as a suite of training strategies for individuals and groups of all kinds. The curriculum developed out of my experience working with Veterans with PTSD @ Road Home program in 2018. Subsequent 500 hr Certification with the Engaged Mindfulness Institute has deepened my facilitation. With an educational background in Philosophy (BA/MA) and Teaching Art (MAT), and a professional background in social work, I have a unique perspective to help you negotiate the challenges of modern life with balance and clarity, with a renewed and vital sense of purpose and meaning.
